I decided for once to have personal desk accessories that say what I enjoy making. 
The difficult part was what color should I use...I knew I wanted to crochet my accessories in cotton yarn without a doubt.  Question was what color...I know when you see these you might say OMG! why this color.  It's ok - there was a reason why I chose this color.  For one it's my prototype so from here I can gauge my future ones that I will make and two I wanted the items that go inside of each of these to stand out. 

All of these are made in a single or double crochet stitch pattern and I used cotton yarn and plastic buttons.  I did use a regular needle and thread to sew the flowers one.  I did use containers that I already had on hand (up cycle). 

These I think came out pretty cute and exactly what I wanted and exactly what I wanted it to say about me...cute, practical and FUN!
